DRAFT — placeholder pending legal counsel

This document is a non-final draft and does not yet constitute a binding privacy notice. It will be replaced with counsel-reviewed text before launch. Do not rely on this wording.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, collected by our authentication provider when you log in.
  • Wallet data: the public Base wallet address associated with your account. Wallet addresses are public on-chain identifiers.
  • Gameplay data: tickets purchased, rounds entered, referral codes used, and the on-chain transactions you sign.
  • Site usage: only if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated usage signals (page views, clicks, approximate region, device class).

2. How we use it

To operate the lottery, settle pots, send transactional notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce eligibility and region restrictions, and — with your consent — measure how the site is used.

3. On-chain data is public

Ticket purchases and payouts are recorded on the Base network by design. On-chain data is public and cannot be deleted — this is an inherent property of public blockchains and part of the product you sign up for.

4. Cookies & analytics

Analytics cookies load only after you opt in. You can change your choice at any time via the cookie preferences control. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention & your rights

Off-chain account data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus any period required by tax, regulatory, or anti-fraud obligations. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete off-chain data. On-chain records are exempt for the reason above.

6. Contact & terms

Final contact details will be provided here once counsel has reviewed this document. Your use of PeopleSpot is also governed by our Terms of Service.
